One of the most difficult issues facing any Board is how to handle the departure of the organisation’s leader, and every Board will face the dilemma at some stage. Departures can be planned or unplanned. I recently came across this short 4 minute read called Ending Well, which talks about this process from the departing leader’s view in a planned departure.
